The Gallery on Liberty

A local art collector purchased a building that was once a small doctor’s office located on Newburgh’s changing Liberty Street with the desire to convert it into an art gallery for an African Art collection. The ground level will serve as the main gallery space. By removing all existing walls and installing a glue-laminated beam we’ll create an open floorplan for a variety of arrangements. This floor will have a small kitchen space that will function as a serving location for gallery openings and events in the gallery.

The second floor is designed to be an office space for the gallery as well as a meeting area for potential buyers. Located in the gable of the building, this space will have its own bathroom, kitchen, lounge, and glass-enclosed office area–complete with built-in storage and designated display areas.
