Manhattan Creative Office Space

We were approached by an old friend and talented creative director to redesign their creative agency workspace in Union Square, Manhattan, NYC. We were tasked with pitching a creative concept, budget, and timeline. Although this project didn’t come to fruition due to the fact that they may move to an entirely different space, the relationship still exists and we hope to work with them in their future location.

We want to create a space that’s fun, energetic, unique, and rejuvenating. A fresh space that we feel would translate to clients that the agency is progressive and original.

Moodboard

We wanted to use pure forms, simple shapes, and brand colors to bring life to the space. The current arrangement was very sterile and lacking in excitement.

We wanted to create a space that was clean, open, and inviting to both visitors and creatives working in the space. Creatives love to talk to each other and share processes which can make for a lively work environment.

Furniture

The agency brand colors are blue, teal, and purple. We thought about how to bring these brand colors through in select locations by adding pops of color in the furniture. A large amount of the build would be using natural woods tones which would bring warmth to an otherwise uninviting space.

LIghting

Simple, pure lighting shapes will be provide a breath of fresh air in specific places. Desk lamps and overhead lighting will be inspiring, clean, and inspiring to the space.

Murals

Our long time friend, artist, and muralist ‘Efdot’, would create a custom wall mural in the creative space in the 160over90 brand colors.

The other walls will feature color blocking in tasteful places.
