To promote Canada as the “Home of Winter,” Praytell and Destination Canada created an immersive Northern Lights installation in Grand Central Terminal, recreating the aurora borealis within a fully enclosed, interactive environment. Working with the Triggerhouse team, I contributed to the experiential and spatial design, helping translate the atmospheric qualities of the Northern Lights into a responsive built installation. The experience featured a motion-reactive LED floor, mirrored ceiling, and spatial audio, allowing visitors to physically engage with the phenomenon while surrounded by scenic elements highlighting Canada’s winter landscapes. Over three days, the installation welcomed more than 10,000 visitors, transforming a high-traffic public space into a moment of immersive discovery and brand engagement.
